/The Unseen Meat
2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
John 4: 6 Now Jacob's well was there, Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well, and it was about the sixth hour. 7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water; Jesus said unto her, Give me to drink. 8 For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.
John 4: 28 The woman then left her water pot and went her way into the city, and saith to the men. 29 Come, see a man, which told me all thing that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him. 31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. 32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. 33 Therefor said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him out to eat? 34 Jesus said unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
John 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. 27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
1 Corinthians 10: 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat.
3 Things that meat does for us
1. Strengthens Us
Acts 9: 19 And when he received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.
2. Enlightens Us
1 Samuel 14: 27 But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honey-comb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.
3. Causes Us to Grow
1 Corinthians 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
