 Tim. 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

The Snare of Offense

Prov. 18:19 A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle.

Luke 17:1 It is impossible but that offences will come: 

Matt. 5: 29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Build A Fence Against Offense

Phil 1: !0 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.

Psalms 139: 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
